Senior QA Automation Engineer

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will contribute to TASConnect (TASC), a cutting-edge fintech platform launched by SC Ventures, the innovation arm of Standard Chartered. TASC’s platform efficiently simplifies the complex connections between organizations and their multiple value-chain partners while still ensuring that the organizations retain control and visibility of their trade and supply chain ecosystems. TASC’s solutions are designed to improve cash flow within supply chains through four key capabilities:

  • Significantly enhancing efficiencies in accounts payable and receivable financing programmes
  • Enabling access to increased working capital sources
  • Automating and simplifying bespoke and complex workflows
  • Allowing businesses to control their own programs in a secure and sustainable manner

II. What You’ll Do

  • Ensure QA deliverables meet the Industry and TASConnect standards
  • Create a test plan and get it approved by key stakeholders
  • Develop test scripts in BDD format and review with BA for signoff
  • Collaborate with BA and Developers to understand the requirements, review test coverage and resolve bugs
  • Design and execute automated test scripts, and record bugs in JIRA within the sprint schedule
  • Demonstrate the automated scripts to key stakeholders and seek their sign-off as part of Sprint Showcase
  • Develop and execute automated sanity and regression packs regularly or as required
  • Automate the test data generation required for test execution
  • Proactively raise risks and issues to scrum master and identify the mitigation plan to overcome hurdles and meet the schedule on time with quality
  • Generate and share the Daily, Weekly test status and RCA reports

III. What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, or a related field
  • 6+ years of previous experience as a test automation engineer using Selenium/Cucumber or equivalent
  • Good understanding of programming languages like Java, SQL, HTML, C, Python, Perl, CSS, XML
  • Good understanding and experience in Supply Chain Financing domain
  • Excellent proficiency with the BDD format of Test Scripts
  • Highly accurate, quality-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Agile methodologies with hands-on expertise in JIRA
  • Excellent reporting, time management, analytical & communication skills
