We are looking for a talented C++ Software Engineer (Automotive, Embedded) to join the project development of digital LCD measuring instruments for various types of vehicles.
I. What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for digital LCD measuring instruments.
- Develop software using C++ in an embedded Linux environment.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and translate them into software solutions.
- Develop and maintain embedded systems for optimal performance.
- Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure smooth integration between software and hardware.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Continuously improve the development process, identifying areas for optimization and proposing improvements.
- Document software designs, processes, and solutions to ensure clarity and maintainability.
II. What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in C++ development, particularly in embedded systems or automotive software.
- Proficiency in Yocto Linux
- Strong knowledge of the Qt framework for GUI development in embedded systems, including Qt/QML.
- Strong understanding of OOP and design patterns.
- Experience with multi-threading, multi-process programming.
- Familiarity with hardware-level development and integration
- Experience in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Docker.
- Fluent English communication (both written and verbal).
