I. What You’ll Do
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to lead and support the migration of on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure Cloud Services. This role will be responsible for end-to-end migration activities, including assessment, planning, execution, optimization, and post-migration support, with a strong focus on database migration and cloud modernization initiatives.
The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud migration projects within enterprise or hybrid environments.
A. Cloud Migration & Implementation
- Assess and analyze existing on-premises environments, applications, and DevOps workflows
- Plan and execute migration to Azure Cloud environments
- Lead migration activities for:
- Databases (primary focus)
- Source code repositories
- Build and Release Pipelines
- Ensure data integrity, rollback readiness, business continuity, and minimal downtime during migration activities
- Support post-migration validation, optimization, and operational stabilization
B. Database Migration & Cloud Modernization
- Assess and migrate on-premises database systems to Azure-based database services
- Support database migration planning, execution, validation, performance tuning, and optimization
- Ensure backup/recovery readiness and migration reliability throughout all phases
- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Application, and Security teams to support cloud modernization initiatives
C. DevOps Architecture & Optimization
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using YAML-based multi-stage pipelines
- Define and maintain repository governance, branching strategies, and deployment standards
- Optimize system performance, maintainability, automation, and operational efficiency post-migration
- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
D. Security & Governance
- Implement RBAC and integrate Azure services with Azure Active Directory
- Manage secrets, certificates, and credentials using Azure Key Vault
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards (ISO, SOC2, etc.)
E. Automation & Integration
- Automate migration and operational tasks using PowerShell and/or Bash scripting
- Integrate Azure DevOps with enterprise tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, and Jenkins
- Support containerization and orchestration initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
F. Stakeholder Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with Development, QA, Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams throughout migration projects
- Provide technical guidance, user training, and post-migration support
- Create and maintain technical documentation, migration procedures, architecture diagrams, and best practices
II. What You’ll Bring
*Must-have:
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD implementation
- Proven experience migrating database from on-premises to Cloud environments (Azure)
- Hands-on experience supporting or delivering cloud migration projects involving infrastructure and/or databases
- Strong understanding of:
- Git / TFVC version control systems
- CI/CD pipelines (YAML-based)
- Azure Cloud Services (compute, storage, networking)
- On-premises and cloud-based database environments
- Scripting experience using PowerShell and/or Bash
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience working in Azure cloud migration and modernization initiatives
- Azure certification is highly preferred:
- AZ-400: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

Working Time: 08:30 AM – 06:00 PM from Monday to Friday (Lunch break 1.5 hours).
