We are looking for a Junior React Native Developer to build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. This is an excellent opportunity for junior engineers or fresh graduates with hands-on projects who are eager to learn, take ownership, and grow under the guidance of experienced team members.
I. What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
- Implement new features based on business requirements, UI/UX designs, and technical specifications.
- Integrate RESTful APIs with backend services.
- Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, optimize application performance, and improve user experience.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA Engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and continuously learn from senior team members.
- Contribute ideas and proactively improve development processes.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Team Leader.
II. What We’re Looking For
Must-have
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in React Native development, or fresh graduates with hands-on project experience.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Basic understanding of React and React Native, including Functional Components, React Hooks, Props & State, and Component Lifecycle.
- Experience with React Navigation, RESTful APIs (Axios/Fetch API), and JSON data handling.
- Familiar with Git and at least one state management solution such as Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand.
- Ability to transform Figma designs into responsive React Native applications using Flexbox.
- Basic knowledge of SQLite or PostgreSQL.
- Familiar with debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools or React Native Debugger.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Able to read and understand technical documentation in English.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics).
- Experience implementing Push Notifications.
- Familiarity with AsyncStorage or MMKV.
- Experience with Expo, Fastlane, or basic CI/CD pipelines.
- Mobile applications published on Google Play or the App Store.
- GitHub profile showcasing personal or open-source projects.
