LARION is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Client’s Project Director, serving as a key liaison between stakeholders and development teams to ensure successful project delivery, effective communication, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate combines strong project management capabilities with technical understanding, excellent English communication skills, and proven experience working with international clients.
I. What You’ll Do
- Collaborate closely with the Client’s Project Director and key stakeholders to manage software development projects from planning through delivery, ensuring alignment with agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and external stakeholders.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, blockers, and mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, status meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
- Monitor project progress and proactively drive issue resolution.
- Ensure timely communication and alignment among all project participants.
- Prepare project documentation, progress reports, meeting minutes, and executive summaries.
- Support continuous improvement of project management processes and delivery practices.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through proactive communication and delivery ownership.
II. What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably within software development environments.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, managing engineering or software delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to interact directly with US-based stakeholders.
- Experience working with US clients or international teams in a remote environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and expectation management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness and ability to work full-time during US Eastern Time business hours (night shift in Vietnam).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in software outsourcing, consulting, or staff augmentation environments.
- Technical background as a Software Engineer, Business Analyst, Solution Architect, or Technical Lead.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience managing distributed and cross-cultural teams.
