As a QA Lead/QA Manager, you will be at the forefront of our quality assurance strategy, leading a team of QA engineers, mentoring them in best practices, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams/stakeholders to ensure client products meet the highest standards.
I. What You’ll Do
- Leadership & Strategy: Build, lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence. Develop and implement QA strategies, test plans, and processes that align with our business goals.
- Test Planning & Execution: Plan and execute comprehensive test strategies in the alignment with the expected delivery timelines; contribute to the overall product release plans.
- Quality Assurance Governance: Establish and maintain QA standards, metrics, and best practices to ensure the highest level of software quality. Drive continuous improvements in the QA process and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams (external and internal) to define requirements, develop test cases, and ensure seamless integration of QA efforts.
- Defect Management: Lead the defect management process, including the detection, analysis, tracking, and validation of defects. Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution and validation of fixes.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion initiatives for process improvement, automation, and efficiency in the QA process.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular updates to senior management on QA progress, including key metrics, risk assessments, and quality outcomes. Ensure comprehensive documentation of test plans, cases, scenarios, and results.
II. What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in QA, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Proven track record in building, leading QA teams and delivering high-quality software products.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, process oriented, with a focus on delivering complete solutions.

Java development background, OR having foundation (at conceptual / high level is enough) on Java and its libraries/frameworks (Java, JCK, JDK, Swing, JVM…) is a big plus.

Experience in working with automation test is highly preferred.

Being familiar with executing tests on Solaris, Linux, MacOS, Windows platforms.

Experience with applying virtualization platforms (VMWare vSphere, Hyper-V…) in managing test environments, with handling complex lab setup, is a big plus.

Having good mindset and experience in handling compliance, performance, non-functional testing.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability of articulating complex ideas clearly and effectively.

Being comfortable in working with Agile environments, with a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC practices.
- Experience with common task/bug tracking, collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence… or equivalent).
